Kobus’s love for cattle farming began in his childhood whilst spending time on their family farms in Limpopo. Being a meat lover, he always wanted to know where his meat came from, who the farmer was, and how the cattle were treated. His vision of grass fed cattle is what inspired him and his brother to take over the family farm and to continue with ethical farming practices. Their philosophy was “to keep their cattle as close to nature as possible.”
Staying true to this philosophy, Kobus personally selects speciality meats long before the cleaver is raised to ensure the quality of products on our shelves is unparalleled.
